There are many ways to shut down your PC: you can shut down your PC completely, put it into sleep mode, or put it into sleep mode.

Shut down your PC completely
Select to turn offStartand then selectallowed for>extinguish.
sleep
Sleep mode consumes very little power, your PC boots faster and instantly goes back to where you left off. You don't have to worry about losing your work due to low battery because Windows will automatically save all your work and shut down your PC when the battery gets too low. Use sleep mode when you leave your PC for a while, e.g. B. when you take a coffee break.
On many PCs (especially laptops and tablets), when you close the lid or press the power button, the PC goes into sleep mode.
To put the PC to sleep by closing the lid or pressing the power button:

Use hibernation when you know you won't be using your laptop or tablet for a long time and won't have a chance to charge the battery during that time. First, check if this option is available on your PC and activate it if necessary.
To set your PC to hibernate:
